Full-cycle, under one roof
Uma Bellows was built on the same principle that governs the part it makes: a system under stress needs somewhere to flex, or it fails. Over seventeen years, that's meant building out full in-house capability — engineers who design to spec, fabricators who weld to standard, and a testing floor that verifies every unit before it ships.
Purpose
We give critical infrastructure the flexibility to move without failing. That's the entire job of a bellows — absorb thermal expansion, vibration, and misalignment so the rigid pipe run around it doesn't have to — and it's the standard we hold every unit we build to.
Mission
To engineer and manufacture metal bellows and expansion joints precise enough to trust in the most demanding industrial systems — and to prove that trust ourselves, with in-house design, fabrication, and testing on every unit we ship.
What "full-cycle" actually means
Design, fabrication, and testing never leave the building. Our engineers work each configuration to spec; our fabrication floor welds to standard using MIG, TIG, and SMAW procedures; and every unit is verified on our own testing floor — destructive tests including cyclic life, rupture, and squirm testing, and non-destructive tests including radiographic, ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and halogen leak detection — before it ships.
- Unparalleled engineering expertise
- In-house fabrication, not subcontracted
- Destructive & non-destructive testing on every line
- Custom-engineered configurations, not off-the-shelf
Proof, not adjectives
Most small industrial fabricators don't disclose a client list. Ours includes national energy and infrastructure names like ONGC, IndianOil, and NPCIL (Nuclear Power Corporation of India) alongside major state water and municipal authorities — the kind of clients that don't have room for a part that fails.
Uma Bellows is the trade name under which Uma Engineering Solution operates — the name you'll see on our ISO 9001:2015 certification and other formal documentation.
